This was the 1st Gold Tournament that WSBA had ever run.
We had a very busy and successful U15 Gold this weekend. We had a good Warwickshire entry and performances, most notable being Varsha getting Silver in the Girls Singles.
The tournament ran smoothly despite on the day withdrawals and player injuries, resulting in on the day tournament adjustments!
It was all hands on for the first day with 12 courts in action, and the second day of semi-finals and finals was run by Paul and Sue (I disappeared after setup).
The successful tournament wouldn’t have been possible without the great help I received from Paul Harper, Sue Spink, Pete Baxter, and Danny and Helen McHugh,
Many thanks to Jay for organising this Tournament which was held at the University of Warwick - Congratulations to all of the WSBA players who took part - further details can be found here - https://be.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/winners.aspx?id=6A437E7F-8039-496D-87DC-36F8C6B4D77B
